We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Egypt, Cara's mother, to our kennel family. She is the carbon copy
of Cara in color and conformation but does not possess Cara's drive to the same degree. She wants to be with us
rather than out with the others but then again, she is 6 years of age. She has taken basic obedience lessons and
is quite obedient, choosing to follow me around the house and yard and stay at my side.
Having been raised in a kennel environment for six years before coming here, she is proving to be quite content with
her new life. Here on the farm, she has discovered the many paddocks contain horses. Though she has never seen horses or any
other livestock, we were quite astounded when she ran into one of the paddocks, rounded up the three horses in there
and quietly moved them together as a unit, working behind them and to each side to do so, toward their hay. Once there, she
sat behind them. She checked to see if I had noticed where she had gone and when I called her, she left the horses and came
out to me, wagging her tail...proud of her work and making sure she was lavished with praise for what came naturally for
her.
We bred her to Hause for a repeat of Cara's wonderful litter last year and have delivered 3 handsome males
and 2 females. The bloodlines this litter had brought them closer to their European breeding through Egypt so the drive
experienced with the last litter should definitely be evident. The litter so far has proven to have good attitude, an
aptitude to please, and are really good looking.
